She was the first class of Americans to be selected to work for the elite PanAm airline company.  After working for PanAm she moved onto the  private aviation sector and flew for FlexJet for many years. Rather than the not so prestigious world of commerical flying today, Mary Lou opened a school for private jet flight attendant training in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
